Marqués de Monistrol is one of the leading Cava producers having established winemaking at the property in San Sadurni d’Anoia in 1882, in the heart of Penedès. Since then quality has been the byword in the production of some of the best sparkling wines from Spain elaborated according to the traditional method.

Grape varieties: Macabeo, Xarel-lo, Parellada

Production method: Made using the traditional Champagne method, this wine is kept on its lees for 15 months.

Tasting note: Bright straw colour, fresh aromas of herbs and apples and full and long on the finish with a fine mousse.

Serving suggestions: Excellent as an aperitif or with white fish.
