This Single Malt has been produced in one of the most remarkable distiileries located on the West Coast of Scotland. Delicate notes of malt, balanced with fresh nut and dried fruits. Could be served as an aperitif or as an after-dinner dram with friends.
The first encounter was 30 years ago with the discovery of the malts whiskies in Scotland another country of great distillers and cellar masters. After having introduced to his French customers a beautiful line of single cask malt whiskies, Léopold Gourmel decided to go a step further and choose his own exceptional lots , remarkable casks. Thus was born our own brand Eilan Gillan which offers a short range of 3 to 8 references of malts in limited but significant quantity. The underlying ambition is to search for the most authentic expression of a specific distillery and of a specific year. All are tasted and selected by Olivier, kept in Glasgow and then bottled in Scotland.
The idea is to present an aromatic diversity of refined malt with noticeable lingering finish, clean and persistent, strictly with no additives, un-chill filtered and no cosmetic game with casks adding the flavour of a foreign product.
